The China-GCC Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum is a concrete action to implement the important consensus reached by Chinese President and leaders of GCC member states. Under the theme of "Jointly Discussing and Working Together for a Better Future", the forum will discuss new developments in China-Gulf Cooperation based on the outcomes and consensus of the first China-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit.

       About 400 people attended the meeting, including leaders from the Ministry of Commerce of China, leaders from the economic and trade departments of GCC member states and the Secretariat of the GCC, leaders from the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and provincial government of the Communist Party of China, representatives from Chinese and overseas enterprises, business associations, financial institutions, think tanks, experts and scholars, and Chinese representatives from the media organizations of New China and China.
